HOW TO PLAY

Moxie is all about transforming words into new words. You start with a hand of 52 letters that you go through "Solitaire" style. Place each letter on the board or "Pass". If you "Pass" you cant go back to that letter.
You score points by:
1. Making unique words with the letters
2. Transforming your words into other words by adding and replacing letters. For example: "TIN" becomes "TINE" which becomes "TILE" which becomes "TILED" and so on.
3. Spelling special "Moxie words" for bonus points
Once you spell a word and start transforming it into other words, dont break the word chain! Thats a "Twaddle" and youll lose points.
Theres no time limit and while it helps to know a lot of words, Moxie will more greatly reward those who like to think strategically.

Moxie Classic app good for
Good thinking, love playing, nice to play against yourself instead of waiting for opponent. Takes a while to get the gist of it, but then hard to put down.
Awesome game! Never the same game twice and makes you use your brain.
Dont know what is happening. When u open letters already showing. Is this to make me buy the not free version. Previously I rated this the very tops now not so sure
Very challenging. A little hard to understand at first but the tutorial really helps!
I love the concept and really enjoy this game. I have only played the free version. I wish the site was more responsive, very frequently I am unable to start the game because I cant figure out how to get the right screen to appear.
Stimulates the mind and is a great, relaxing way to spend time at the cottage. Love the competitive edge it offers me; trying to beat my own score.
Some bad moments
Was hoping for a tutorial, but when I went to see the demo, nothing plays and the only direction included is "skip video." Not too helpful.
Very nice to play a fun intelligent game without a barrage of unwanted advertisements, or in-app purchases.
First time playing it I didnt realize Two hours passed! Had a blast. This is like all of my fave word games rolled into one. Thanks
The game is fun, but its vocabulary is very pedestrian. It gets irritating being "twaddled after spelling common words several times. And the moxie words are also very abbreviated. Tiger, zebra, loon, etc.; none are animal "moxie words". Anyway its a fun game mostly, just dont expect a scrabble-type word pool. This is middle-school vocabulary here, at best. Great idea, but I wish it was more robust. Id pay for that.
I really enjoy trying to beat my best scores....every game is a challenge and enjoyable!!
And one that makes you think. Just wish that it would vary the numbers on the different letters each game
